Recall Alert: Dollar General key chains have lead

Another product being pulled off the shelves…
Key chains sold at Dollar General stores contain high levels of lead, and must be recalled immediately.
 

They were sold from June 2005 through August 2007 for about $1.

Recall alert: bookmarks and journals due to lead hazard

Bookmarks and Journals published by Antioch Publishing, of Yellow Springs, Ohio are being recalled because of lead hazard. These and others (see list below fold) were sold nationwide from March 2005 through October 2007 for between $4 and $14.
The character-themed bookmarks and journals include the following designs:

Recall Alert: Plush Boys rattles by Target

Target announced a voluntarily recall of PLUSH BOYS RATTLE due to choking hazard.

The rattles can break open, release the small beads inside and pose a choking hazard for young children. They were sold exclusively at Target stores nationwide from March 2007 through May 2007 for about $1.

Toy Recall Alert: Fisher-Price Geo Trax Locomotive

Fisher-Price announces a voluntary recall of 90,000 toys, effective immediately for excessive lead on its surface paints.
It’s the Geo Trax Locomotive Toys, pictured here.
The affected models have a date code between 212-6CK through 365-6CK or 001-7CK through 232-7CK marked on the bottom of the product. Consumers are urged to take the toys away from children.
