Mayfield Dairy Farms is recalling “Mayfield Vanilla Classic Ice Cream” due to undeclared pecans.
The product was distributed in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and Mississippi.
The product is in half-gallon rectangular paper cartons with a code date of 01/30/09, plant code of 47225, and UPC number 75243 20144.
Consumers may return the product to the place of purchase for a refund. Consumers with questions may contact the company at (800) 629-3435.
PEANUT ALLERGY ALERT

Pierre’s Ice Cream Company is recalling “Pierre’s Homestyle Dutch
Chocolate Ice Cream” due to undeclared peanut.The product was distributed through retail stores in Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, and western Pennsylvania.
The product is packaged in a 56-oz. purple package with a code of 07320 on the rim of the lid.
Consumers may call the company at (216) 432-1144 to ask questions or
obtain refund instructions.
