Wheat and Milk Allergy Alerts: Wegmans and Cedarlane foods

I got this from the Food Allergy and Anaphylaxis Network alert, and want to pass it on to our fellow-allergy sufferers.

WHEAT ALLERGY ALERT

Wegmans Food Markets, Inc., is recalling 8-oz. “Wegmans Bouillabaisse
Seafood Sauce” due to undeclared wheat.

The product was sold exclusively at Wegmans Food Markets in Maryland, New
Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Virginia.

The product is packaged in a clear, flexible pouch. The recalled 8-
oz. “Wegmans Bouillabaisse Seafood Sauce” is identified by a “Use By” date
up to and including 12/24/07.

Consumers can return the product to the place of purchase for a full
refund. Consumers with questions can call (800) 934-6267, extension 4760.

MILK ALLERGY ALERT

Cedarlane Natural Foods is recalling 6-oz. “Cedarlane Low Fat Bean Rice &
Cheese style Burritos” due to undeclared milk.

The product was distributed through grocers and distributors to all 50
states.

The product is available in individual 6-oz. packages and in cartons of
eight. The code dates for the individually wrapped products are
from “062808A” (June 28, 2008) through “082908A” (August 29, 2008.) The
code dates for the cartons are from “062808” (June 28, 2008)
through “082908” (August 29, 2008.)

Consumers may return the product to the place of purchase for a full
refund. Consumers with questions can call (800) 826-3322, extension 800.
